Day Four: Weather Wednesday

Wherever we are, whatever we do, we all experience the weather. It's one of the ways we connect to nature and often to one another when we first meet and engage in casual conversation. It's such a part of where we live and even who we are! Though Shannon and I aren't experiencing this winter weather yet, we know we will! In fact, as Canadians, it's almost our duty to both complain about it and also be proud of our ability to well, weather it!

What's the weather like where you live today?

  1. Ah, the weather. Mine is very typical Nova Scotia late Autumn weather at the moment. :-)

  3. In Atlanta we have six days of rain coming up. When I was little I used to love to go outside and splash in the puddles. I think a walk in the rain sounds like fun.

  8. It was foggy when I drove in this morning, but I haven't had a chance to look since 6:30. I'll report back when I leave for the drive home - but it was supposed to reach into the upper 70s with plenty of humidity today.

  9. Mine is pretty short, and focuses on what I have to deal with at work. Nothing too exciting, but a post none-the-less. :)

  10. It's unseasonably warm in Chicago today -- 53 degrees Fahrenheit! But winter will be back in full-force tomorrow, and that's Chicago for ya!

  12. This is too cool. I am so interested in seeing what everyone else is doing. Am I nosy? No, I would rather think I am acquiring knowledge! (Really, I'm just having fun playing!)

  13. The prompt made me think of "Weather Report"... the jazz band... and that is going to be my music for the day! :D

  15. Having lived in snowy climates before, I truly appreciate the mild winters on California's central coast. I'm a weather wimp.

  16. This question has planted an earworm for me from my childhood - an old radio station jingle that went "What's the weather for the weekend going to be- will it be hot, cold, rain, snow."

  17. And in the end, I went with George Carlin and the "Hippy Dippy" weatherman report

  18. These posts have been so much fun. Seriously. I actually wake up early to see what's up for the day? Is that twisted? :) I love seeing all the different styles and personal touches. Thanks so much for the prompts, Jamie and Shannon, and thanks to everyone participating. This has been just the thing to shake things up around here in a very good way.
