Day 24: Holiday Disasters!

So... In the winter solstice Shannon, I and our neck of the woods was hit with a powerful ice storm! No power. No heat. Large branches and breaking ice falling all around us. We countered with candles, pretzels and board games and Suzie helped us here - thank you so much, Suzie!!

We still have no phone, no Internet, but from my phone we thought we'd ask you to share a story, a tip or a strategy of a holiday disaster!

I can't access Mr Linky so please leave your link in the comments!

  5. Posting from my phone is tricky! And I still can't figure out how to make comments go through from it, so I've snuck in my dad's office to use his computer. Here's me: http://www.kellybesecke.com/kickin-it-day-24-holiday-disaaters/
And I wish Jamie and Shannon and everyone safe, cozy, warm, and happy!

  15. It seems I've averted a holiday "disaster" today, but I do have a fond memory of one from 31 years ago. :) Finally-- FINALLY-- really feeling the spirit today. Hallelujah! Merry Christmas Eve, guys. I hope you have a disaster free one, and if not, may it make a good story later on.
